About a year into its Foundry 4.0 journey, Ferroloy was asked to participate in a case study with ARTek Consulting and Inductive Automation. The case study was conducted to provide insight to how small foundries can use Ignition software to digitalize the foundry floor.
Ferroloy started its LEAN manufacturing journey through digitalization to drive efficiency, utilize latent capacity, reduce scrap, and improve unplanned downtime.
“What we’re trying to accomplish is to digitize an aged process and gain better visibility to unlock the latent potential within the process,” said Clint VenJohn, Process Engineer.
